Susan Danehey, new ED at heartland CASA has long enjoyed working with children and families. Danehey believes strongly that when we build a strong and safe child we build a stronger and safer future for all of us.  Danehey has two sons, one daughter, and a daughter in law. Beyond her love of children she also has a passion for photography, writing  and art. She also runs The Studio in Blue Hill, and writes for the Hastings Tribune .
